Joe Mink was voted into office at a special caucus in January 2022. He represents District Three which covers Center, Madison, Owen, Ross, Warren, and Washington townships.
Born and raised in Clinton County, Mink is a Frankfort High School graduate. He also attended the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and spent 45 years serving in law enforcement as a lieutenant for the Frankfort Police Department, a major for the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, and police chief for Rossville Schools.
During his council tenure, Mink is most proud of the new three-story, 41,925-square-foot County Annex building currently under construction at the corner of Main and Washington Streets.
Mink and his wife have three adult sons and six grandkids. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, working outside, and fishing.
